MARRIED THURSDAY AFTERNOON.

  At 3.30 o'clock Thursday afternoon, December 14, Mr. Harvey M. 
Gardner and Leucina Werner, both residents of Tyrone, were united in 
marriage by the Rev. George M. Hoke, at the parsonage of the Simpson 
Methodist Episcopal church, in the presence of several immediate 
relatives of the contracting parties.  The young couple expect to 
reside in Pittsburg.
