Thursday evening, at the residence of the bride's parents, corner of Seventeenth avenue and Thirteenth street, Mr. Edward Geesey and Miss Lottie M. Myers were united in the holy bonds of matrimony by Rev. J. W. Bain, pastor of the First Presbyterian church. The groom is an excellent young man, a machinist by trade and a son of Mr. Levi Geesey. The bride is the only daughter of Mr. G. L. Myers. She is a general favorite among her acquaintances, and is a most estimable young lady. The wedding was a very quiet one. Mr. and Mrs. Geesey left same night on a trip to Chicago and other western points. Altoona Tribune, March 21, 1889
