A very pretty wedding was solemnized at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Runyeon, 308 Twenty-second avenue, last evening when their daughter, Miss Helen Beatrice Runyeon, was united in marriage to Mr. Palmer R. Hahn, of 523 Third avenue. The officiating clergyman was Rev. Dr. A. B. Bunn van Ormer, of the Second Lutheran church. They entered the parlor to Mendelssohn's wedding march rendered by Miss Leora Miller and were attended by Mr. Harold B. Hahn, of Toledo, O., brother of the groom, and Miss Gertrude Kinsel, of this city. Both bride and groom were members of the class of 1914 of the Altoona High school. Mr. Hahn has been located in Pittsburg for the last three years, holding a responsible position with the Westinghouse Electrical company while the bride is a very estimable young woman, having a host of friends who will wish her a happy future. After they had been showered with congratulations an excellent wedding supper was served. Among the out-of-town guests were Mr. Earl C. Runyeon and family, of Steubenville, O., Mrs. H. L. Heaton and family, of Mt. Vernon, O., and C. L. Atkinson, of Pittsburg. After an extended wedding trip along the Great Lakes they will be at home to their many friends at 808 West street, Wilkinsburg. Altoona Tribune, Thursday morning, June 13, 1918, page 10
