HAMER - SMELSER.

  At 8.30 o'clock Wednesday evening, Mr. William A. Hamer and Miss Margaret 
M. Smelser were married at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. 
L. Smelser, 210 Lexington avenue, the ceremony being performed by Rev. Dr. 
O. C. Roth, pastor of the First Lutheran church.  The attendants were Mr. N. 
C. Hamer and Miss Clara Smelser, while the ring bearer was Miss Catherine 
Kuhn.  There were a large number of invited guests present.  Mr. and Mrs. 
Hamer departed last evening for New York, accompanied by the best wishes of 
their many friends.  On their return they will reside at 210 Lexington 
avenue.
