A beautiful wedding was that last evening of Mr. William Hamlin, of 1811 Eighth avenue, and Miss Gertrude Priscilla Walker, of 323 Crawford avenue. Rev. S. D. Daugherty performed the ceremony, using the abridged ring service. The contracting parties were united in holy wedlock at the home of the bride in the presence of their immediate relatives and friends. During the evening a sumptuous supper was served. Mr. Hamlin is in the employ of Messrs. Curry, Canan & Co., and is a most excellent and highly esteemed young man. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Walker, of this city, and a granddaughter of the late Rev. J. Walker, who for years was pastor of the First United Brethren church. She is a young woman of charming and superior qualities.
