HAMMEL - BOWERS.

  At 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon Mr. James Hammel and Miss Nancy C. Bowers, 
a popular young couple of Brooks Mills, were united in marriage by Justice of 
the Peace Isaac M. Irwin at his office on Allegheny street, the ceremony 
being performed in a quiet manner.  The young man is a prosperous farmer of 
the county and he and his bride have the best wishes of their friends for a 
happy and successful wedded life.
