HANDWORK WEDS MISS FLORINE MYERS Well Known Practitioner and Popular Young Woman Are Married Dr. A. J. W. Handwork, of 1227 Twelfth avenue, and Miss Florine B. Myers, of 1212 Nineteenth avenue, were quietly wedded at St. Luke's Protestant Episcopal church at 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon by the Rev. George R. Bishop, rector. Announcement of the nuptials, which culminate an interesting romance, came as a surprise to the innumerable friends of the physician and his bride. Mr. and Mrs. Henry S. Evans, of this city, attended the couple, and the ceremony was witnessed by only their immediate friends. Dr. Handwork is one of the city's rising young practitioners. He located here three years ago, coming from Huntingdon. His bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles S. Myers, and was formerly a student at Altoona high school and Dickinson seminary, Williamsport. She is one of the most active of the city's younger social set and is prominent in the affairs of the Junior auxiliary to Altoona hospital and other local organizations. Mrs. Handwork was one of the bridesmaids at the Hart-Slutzker wedding at the Logan house one week ago tonight. Dr. and Mrs. Handwork will not enjoy a wedding trip at present and will take up housekeeping later in the city.
