THANKSGIVING A POPULAR TIME FOR WEDDINGS.

  About 4 o'clock in the afternoon of Thanksgiving day Father Ryan 
performed the ceremony at St. John's Church, which united in marriage 
Mr. John Hanley and Miss Lucy McIntosh, a daughter of County 
Commissioner James McIntosh.  A reception was held in the evening at 
the residence of the bride's parents on Tenth avenue, and many costly 
and useful presents were made to the young couple.  After the reception 
the bridal pair departed for the east on fast line expecting to return 
on Sunday.
