About 4 o'clock in the afternoon of Thanksgiving day Father Ryan performed the ceremony at St. John's Church, which united in marriage Mr. John Hanley and Miss Lucy McIntosh, a daughter of County Commissioner James McIntosh. A reception was held in the evening at the residence of the bride's parents on Tenth avenue, and many costly and useful presents were made to the young couple.
