At Williamsburg, Pa., Professor Eugene C. Hare and Miss Helen A. Ross were united in marriage yesterday and Rev. B. R. M. Sheeder, pastor of the Lutheran church, performed the ceremony. Mr. Hare is a most excellent young man, who has a bright future before him. His education is of a high order, being a graduate of Wittenberg college. Since his graduation three years ago he has devoted his entire time to teaching and literary pursuits. As a teacher he has already earned an enviable reputation and the high school of Altoona may be congratulated upon securing his services as a teacher for the coming school term. Mr. Hare is a son of A. L. Hare, sheriff of Blair county, and by virtue of sterling inherent worth, as well as by social and educational training, is well equipped for life's duties. The bride is a beautiful, cultured and highly esteemed young lady of Williamsburg. Coming from one of our best families and enjoying excellent social advantages, she will carry with her such qualities as will make home what it should be. A long train of interested and admiring friends offer their best wishes. Mr. and Mrs. Hare will receive their friends at their home, Hollidaysburg, Pa. Morning Tribune, Wednesday, June 28, 1899
