HICKS - DIFFENBACHER

  Mr. Alexander S. Hicks, one of the proprietors of the People's Tea 
Co. of Altoona and Miss Edith G. Diffenbacher of Juniata, were married 
last evening at 8 o'clock at the bride's home in Juniata. The ceremony 
was performed by Rev. Lewis Robb, formerly pastor of the Trinity 
Reformed church of Altoona, assisted by Rev. Warren J. Johnson. A 
wedding supper was served immediately after the ceremony. Mr. and Mrs. 
Hicks will take an extended wedding tour through the west.
