  At the residence of the Bride's Mother, Jan. 28th, 1868, by Rev. W. 
W. Hicks, of Brooklyn, New York, Mr. J. D. Hicks to Miss Anna M. Sparr, 
all of Altoona, Pa. - No cards.
  The above notice was accompanied with the usual compliments.  We wish 
the happy couple a history of prosperity, happiness, and usefulness in 
this life, and an entrance into the future life, still more brilliant 
and glorious than was their entrance into connubial bliss.
