Mrs. Daniel Nickum of Duncansville has announced the marriage of her daughter, Miss Mabel Burk, to Mr. Herman F. Housum of Blair street, Hollidaysburg on Wednesday, Oct. 9, at 10 a.m. at Cumberland Md., the couple slipping off from their friends. The ceremony was performed by Rev. ?. S. Price, Methodist clergyman of that city, with only Miss Gladys Housum, a sister of the bridegroom in attendance. The newlyweds returned during the afternoon and were tendered a reception in the evening. The bride is a former employe of the Hollidaysburg silk mill, while her bridegroom holds a position with the Pennsylvania Railroad company in the Altoona works. For the present Mr. and Mrs. Housum will reside at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Nickum at Duncansville and later will take up housekeeping in this city. They have a host of friends who join in extending their hearty congratulations and well wishes for much happiness.
