The Juniata correspondent of the Tribune sends the following marriage notice: On Thursday evening, June 22, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Applebaugh, in the presence of nearly a hundred people, the Rev. W. H. Stevens united in matrimony Miss Ida May Applebaugh and Mr. Martin L. Hunt. The bride is the daughter of Councilman Charles E. Applebaugh. The groom is the son of Mr. J. I. S. Hunt. The wedding was one of the prettiest ever witnessed in Juniata. The rooms on the first floor were all handsomely decorated with flowers and evergreens. Precisely at 8 o'clock Miss Elsie Trout took her place at the piano and the wedding party proceeded to the place selected for the performance of the ceremony, moving to the stately music of the wedding march. Five little flower girls preceded the bridal procession. They were Misses Marie Hall, Ethel Hall, Blanche Eicher, May Jones and Ida Whitefield. Miss Emma Bingaman, of Wilkesbarre, Pa., acted as bridesmaid, and Mr. William Bain, of Juniata, as groomsman. The ushers were Miss Lucy Wright, of Huntingdon, and Mrs. Arthur Timm, of Juniata. After the ceremony and congratulations were over the guests were invited to partake of a dainty wedding feast. The happy couple left on fast line amid showers of rice and old shoes. They will visit Cape Charles, Va., where a brother of Mrs. Hunt resides. On the return trip they will visit Maryland and Philadelphia. They will reside in Juniata. The Tribune correspondent wishes them a happy and prosperous life. Morning Tribune, Friday, June 23, 1899
