HOLLIDAYSBURG HAPPENINGS.

  William Jackson, chief of the motive power department at J. L. 
Hartman's residence, and Miss Irene Williams, of Altoona, had the 
nuptial knot tied at the parsonage of the African Methodist Episcopal 
Zion church, last evening, Rev. B. Dorsey officiating.  They were 
afterwards tendered a plantation serenade, which for volume and noise 
exceeded anything within the memory of the oldest inhabitant.
