HOLLIDAYSBURG HAPPENINGS.

  Cards are out announcing the approaching nuptials of Miss Effie May 
McDowell, niece of Mrs. Elizabeth Ewing, and Mr. George Turner Jacobs, 
of Hollidaysburg.  The event will occur at the home of the bride's aunt 
in Ligonier, Pa., on Tuesday, November 30, at high noon.
