The banns of matrimony between Miss Margaret Lynam, of 1404 Seventh avenue, recently a bookkeeper in the office of the Altoona Times and Edgar W. Jones, a well known funeral director, at Eleventh avenue and Bridge street, were published on Sunday in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic church, for the first time. The date the nuptials are to be solemnized has not yet been given out. Altoona Times, Altoona, Pa., Tuesday Morning, November 19, 1918 JONES - LYNAM Miss Margaret M. Lynam of 1404 Seventh avenue and Edgar W. Jones of 1921 Eleventh avenue will be united in marriage this morning at 6 o'clock in the Mount Carmel church, by the Rev. Father Jerome Zazzara. The immediate families of the contracting parties will be present and Miss Adelade Lynam of this city and Leroy J. Lynam of Cape Charles, Va., sister and brother of the bride will be the attendants. The bride is one of the city's most popular and esteemed young ladies; for a number of years she was the very efficient bookkeeper for the Times. The bridegroom is the well-known funeral director. Immediately following the ceremony the happy couple will leave for western cities where they will spend their honeymoon. On their return they will take up housekeeping in this city.
