JOHN KAZMAIER TO WED. 

The announcement of the coming marriage of John Kazmaier, proprietor of the 
Germania brewery, and Miss Nettie KEMP, ward of a prominent hotelkeeper of 
DuBois, was announced at a betrothal party held yesterday afternoon at the 
residence of Mr. Kazmaier. The wedding is to take place next week, presumably 
at DuBois, the day not having been publicly announced. Mr. Kazmaier is to 
build a magnificent villa at Ant Hill for a permanent residence. Last night 
Mr. Kazmaier and Miss Kemp and friends formed a box party that witnessed the 
all-star production of "The Heart of Maryland".

KAZMAIER - KEMP  

John Kazmaier, proprietor of the Germania brewery and Miss Nettie Kemp of 
Dubois were married today at high noon at the Commercial hotel at Dubois in 
the presence of a large number of friends. Joseph BENSINGER, proprietor of 
the hotel and guardian of the bride, and wife attended the couple. The 
ceremony was performed by Rev. Rickenbaugh, pastor of the German Lutheran 
church of Dubois, who came from New York, where he had been visiting, 
especially to be present at the function. An elaborate reception was tendered 
the newly married couple at the hotel immediately after the ceremony. Mr. and 
Mrs. Kazmaier left this afternoon for a wedding tour that will embrace points 
along the Pacific coast. They will return to Altoona the latter part of 
February. The bride is a highly accomplished young woman, being very popular 
among a large circle in her hometown. A large mansion is under the course of 
erection at Ant Hill station, which when completed will be occupied by Mr. 
and Mrs. Kazmaier.
