Mr. Ross Kell of this city and Miss Lizzie Williams of Warren, Va., were married at 9 o'clock last night at the Sixteenth street African Methodist Episcopal church, in the presence of one of the largest audiences that ever assembled in that edifice. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Milo S. Jones, the pastor. The bridal party, headed by the Boys' Brigade, of which the groom is captain, entered the church to the strains of a wedding march played by Mrs. Bannum. The couple were met near the altar by the minister, where the nuptial knot was tied according to the marriage ritual of the Methodist church. Mr. George Whiting and wife led the wedding procession and the attendants were Mr. Charles Love of Altoona and Miss Culp of Johnstown. After the ceremony the Boys' Brigade tendered the happy couple a reception in the lecture room of the church, where they received the congratulations of their numerous friends. Later a sumptuous wedding supper was served at 2519 Maple avenue, where Mr. and Mrs. Kell will reside. The groom is a popular employe at the Hotel Ford. Altoona Mirror, Wednesday, October 17, 1906
