Kennedy, of this place, formerly of Ore Hill, and Miss Elizabeth A. Stroup, of East Freedom, were united in the holy bonds of matrimony at the Catholic parsonage in this place on Sunday last, 14th inst., at 3 p.m., by Rev. Father Canevin. Miss Hortie McGraw, of East Freedom, acted as bridesmaid, and Joseph McCormick was the second Joseph, or Joseph Kennedy's "best man." Mr. Kennedy is an industrious, energetic young man, and at present is employed at Duncansville by the Portage Iron company. The bride is one of East Freedom's best young ladies. We join their many friends in wishing them a pleasant journey over life's troubled sea and a triumphant landing at the heavenly shore. Morning Tribune, Altoona, Pa., Tuesday, December 16, 1890
