Kline - Mattern.

  Friends in this city will be surprised to hear of the marriage at 
Valparaiso, Indiana, of Mr. Robert Kline, formerly of South Altoona, a 
son of George and Letta Kline, now of Valparaiso, and Miss Eunice 
Mattern, of Pasadena, Cal.  Mr. Kline, a student at the Valparaiso 
university, met Miss Mattern, an art teacher in a private school in 
Chicago, some months ago.  Cupid took its course at the same time Mr. 
Kline was receiving special instructions in French.  The marriage was 
solemnized in the Presbyterian church, Monday.
