RECENT WEDDINGS.

Lafferty - Casner.

  At the Grace Lutheran church yesterday morning at 9 o'clock, the 
pastor, Rev. M. H. Krumbine, united in marriage Mr. Samuel Allan 
Lafferty and Miss Marguerite Meloy Casner, both of this city.  The 
impressive ring ceremony was used.  The couple was attended by Mr. and 
Mrs. James A. Fitzpatrick, of this city.  The bride is one of Altoona's 
popular young women, a former resident of 1508 Tenth street.  The 
bridegroom is of the wholesale firm of Lafferty Bros. & Co., and 
resides at 1315 Sixteenth avenue.  He has been prominent in many of 
Altoona's musical events.  After the ceremony the couple departed on 
Pennsylvania Limited on an extended wedding trip to eastern cities.  
Upon their return they will be at home to their friends at 1013 Third 
avenue.  Their many friends will join in extending best wishes.
