LAFFERTY Before an altar bedecked with flowers and the church elaborately decorated, Miss Dorothy Adams Riley of 1011 Eleventh street and Mr. Luther Leroy Lafferty of 812 Crawford avenue, were united in marriage at 8.30 o'clock this morning at the First Presbyterian church, Rev. J. W. Francis, D.D., the pastor, officiating. A number of relatives and friends witnessed the ceremony. Mr. Raymond Sheedy and Mr. James Smiley, both of this city, officiated as ushers. Miss Riley was attended by Miss Louise Sisley as the maid of honor and Mr. Lafferty was attended by Mr. Ralph Cassidy as best man. The wedding party entered the church to the strains of Mendelssohn's wedding march, played by Miss Florence Douglass. During the ceremony, Mrs. Donald McKelvey, a sister of the bridegroom, sang "O Promise Me." A wedding breakfast was served at 9 o'clock in the Logan House parlors to the bridal party and immediate families. Music was furnished by Rigg's orchestra. The church was decorated for the nuptials by Myers Brothers, florists. Mr. and Mrs. Lafferty left at 10.35 o'clock for a wedding tour of eastern cities to be gone several weeks. Upon their return they will be at home to their friends in their newly furnished apartment at 700 Seventh avenue. Mrs. Lafferty is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. N. Riley of 1911 Eleventh street and popular among a wide circle of friends. Mr. Lafferty is a son of Mrs. Mary Lafferty of 812 Crawford avenue, and is an inspector on special duty for the Pennsy.
