Long, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert O. Long of 2608 Fifth avenue, became the bride of John M. Lehr, son of Mr. and Mrs. N. B. Lehr of West Lawn. Rev. Father Joseph D. The church organist played the traditional wedding music and the boys' choir of the church sang the mass. The bride, given in marriage by her father, was lovely in a street-length dress of pale blue crepe with a blue hat. She carried a white missal covered with white roses and satin streamers. Miss Ann Dibert, a close friend of the bride, was maid of honor attired in salmon pink with white accessories and a pink hat. She carried a colonial arm bouquet. Francis J. Touey, cousin of the bridegroom of Upper Darby, was best man. The mother of the bride chose a navy blue print dress with a corsage of mixed flowers and the mother of the bridegroom selected a black print dress with a corsage of mixed flowers. Following the ceremony a breakfast was served at the Colonial hotel for 20 guests. The tables were decorated with roses and the bride's table featured a two-tiered wedding cake with a miniature bride and bridegroom. The bride's gift to her maid of honor was an overnight bag and the bridegroom presented the best man with a wallet. Out of town guests were present from Upper Darby, West Lawn and Bryn Mawr. The couple left for a trip to Echo Lake in the Poconos. For traveling the bride wore a gray gabardine suit with a white rose corsage. They will be at home in Reading.
