Leslie - Dennhofer.

We glean the following from the Hagerstown (Md.) Globe of Thursday,
May 26, 1887:

"St. Matthew's German Lutheran church, this city, was at 9 o'clock
this morning the scene of a pleasant event, being the marriage of Mr.
Jacob Leslie, of Altoona, Pa., and Miss Louisa Dennhofer, this city.
Rev. G. H. Brandan, of Baltimore, formerly of this congregation,
officiated.  The contracting parties were attended by Messrs. John
Petro, of Altoona, and Mr. Harry Smith, of this city; Miss Carrie
Leslie, sister of the groom, Altoona, and Miss Bertha Schotterbeck,
this city.  Messrs. W. H. Heimel and W. C. Ernet, this city,
officiated as ushers, and Miss Katie Wizenbacher presided at the
organ.  A large number of valuable and useful presents were
contributed to the pleasure of the couple, who take their departure
this morning for a tour of Philadelphia and New York."
