ARCH SPRING ITEMS.

  At 2 o'clock on last Thursday afternoon an unusually happy event 
occurred at the residence of Mrs. Harriet Russell, near this village.  
The event was the marriage of her only remaining daughter, Miss Rebecca 
Russell, and Mr. John Lininger, of McConnellstown, Huntingdon county.  
The service was performed by Rev. C. U. Heilman, pastor of the Reformed 
church, in the presence of a number of invited guests.  Immediately 
after an elegant repast was served.  The happy couple departed the next 
morning for a short eastern trip, after which they will take up their 
residence at the groom's home.  The bride received numerous beautiful 
and useful presents from her many friends.  Your correspondent extends 
congratulations and best wishes.
