Rev. H. E. Berkey, pastor of the local St. Luke's Lutheran church, officiated. Mr. Loose and his bride are both popular members of our younger set and many congratulations and best wishes followed them when they left for a wedding tour of the eastern cities yesterday morning. The bride is the beautiful and accomplished daughter of Dr. and Mrs. J. T. Vissel, who, besides being loved among her wide circle of friends here, was exceedingly popular among the students of West Chester state normal, from which she graduated last June. The groom is the only son of Mr. and Mrs. D. K. Loose, of East Main street, a young man of splendid character and of unusual business ability. He now holds a responsible position with the Pennsylvania railroad in Altoona. Upon their return the young couple will be at home to their friends at the bride's home, where they will reside this winter. Our best wishes are extended to these newlyweds for a very happy and prosperous future. Altoona Tribune, Altoona, Pa., Friday Morning, December 1, 1916
