Luckhart and Miss Almedea Woomer were united in marriage at 9 o'clock Tuesday by Rev. V. T. Rue, pastor of the Columbia Avenue Methodist church. The ceremony took place in the home on Hamlin avenue, prepared by the groom for immediate occupancy, new furnishings and fittings throughout giving it a rosy and attractive appearance. A large company of guests were present, and all enjoyed the evening hugely. The bride and groom were the recipients of many handsome, useful and valuable tokens of esteem from their friends. Of course a leading feature of the occasion was the bounteous wedding feast served, to which ample justice was done. The newly wedded couple start in life together snugly settled in their new home and their friends are united in the wish that they may always see life as bright as upon their wedding day.
