Maffit - Lowe.

  At 3 o'clock Thursday afternoon Mr. Andrew W. Maffit was married to 
Miss Jennie D. Lowe, the ceremony being performed in St. John's church, 
Rev. Father Smith officiating.  Mr. Maffit is a resident of Spruce 
Creek, Huntingdon county, and is employed in the middle division of the 
Pennsylvania railroad as a brakeman.  He is a very pleasant gentleman 
and has many friends.  The bride is daughter of Mr. C. B. Lowe, 
conductor on the middle division, who resides at 718 Lexington avenue.  
In selecting a companion to accompany him through life Mr. Maffit made 
an excellent choice as the lady is well qualified to make a good wife.  
The happy couple departed on Philadelphia express last evening 
accompanied by the well wishes of their many friends.
