  At St. Matthew's Catholic chapel, on Monday evening, Jan. 8 Rev. 
Father D. J. Gallagher performed the ceremony uniting Michael F. Mara 
and Miss Alice Gallagher, both of Tyrone, in holy bonds of wedlock.  
The bride is a lifelong resident of Tyrone and is a young lady well 
qualified for the responsibilities of her new station.  The groom is a 
paper maker by trade who has been a resident of Tyrone for the past 
fifteen months.  Mr. and Mrs. Mara will shortly take up their residence 
at Hyde Park, Mass., where Mr. Mara has accepted a position at his 
trade.
