Marcus, of Philadelphia, and Miss Jean Blumenthal, of this city, were married in the parlor of the Logan house last evening at 7 o'clock, in the presence of a large number of friends and relatives. The ceremony was performed by Rabbi Klein, of the Hebrew Reformed church, the bride's father giving her away. Mr. Emil Cohn, of Philadelphia, was best man, and Miss Jennie Marcus, a sister of the groom, bridesmaid. The ushers were Joseph and Milton Blumenthal, brothers of the bride; Ellis March, Louis D. Stern, Malcolm Neuwahl, of Altoona, and Samuel Cohn, of Williamsport. Mr. Lou Kline officiated as master of ceremonies. During the ceremony Mr. Jule Neff's orchestra rendered selections. After congratulations had been extended a wedding dinner was served. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Blumenthal, of 1204 Fourteenth avenue, and is a popular young lady. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. B. Marcus, of Philadelphia, and well known as a lecturer in his profession. They will reside in Philadelphia. Morning Tribune, Thursday, November 9, 1899
