Mattern of Warriors Mark. Only the immediate families and friends of the contracting parties were present owing to the death, some months ago, of the bride's father, Walter E. Lindsay. The officiating clergyman was Rev. William H. Orr, pastor of the Presbyterian church. The attendants were Mr. and Mrs. John F. Royer of Lakemont, cousins of the bride. After the ceremony a wedding dinner was served, following which Mr. and Mrs. Mattern took their departure for a wedding trip to Pittsburgh and other western cities. The bride is a very accomplished young woman and the man of her choice is a prominent farmer. They will reside at Locust farm, Huntingdon county, where they will be at home to their friends after Nov. 1. Altoona Times, Altoona, Pa., Friday Morning, October 18, 1918
