The Robison home at Loop Station, near Hollidaysburg, was the scene at 9 o'clock on Tuesday evening of a very pretty wedding, the high contracting parties being Mr. Robert A. Mattern, of Altoona, and Mrs. Mary A. Robison. The house was prettily decorated for the occasion with flowers and ferns and the ceremony was performed by Rev. Julius F. Seebach, pastor of the Lutheran church of Hollidaysburg, the beautiful ring ceremony being used; in the presence of a number of invited guests. The wedding march was played by Miss Lingenfelter of Altoona. At the conclusion of the ceremony, a sumptuous wedding feast was served, that formed a happy climax to the momentous evening. The happy pair then took their departure for an extended wedding trip to Washington, Mount Vernon, New York, Philadelphia and other points of interest. The bride is a very estimable woman of many fine attainments and enjoys the distinction of having been the only woman mail carrier in this section, she having delivered one of the rural routes out of Hollidaysburg for some time past. Her husband is employed at the Twelfth street machine shops at Altoona and is a very exemplary young man. Upon returning from their tour, Mr. and Mrs. Mattern will take up their residence at Altoona. They have the best wishes of a host of friends. Altoona Tribune, Altoona, Pa., Thursday Morning, November 16, 1916
