The parties to the nuptial contract were William McCormick, of Sinking Valley, and Mrs. Elizabeth Taylor, of Tyrone, and the ceremony was performed by their good friend, J. L. Holmes, Esq. After the ceremony, which was a quiet and unostentatious one, the newly-wedded couple remained in Tyrone. They will reside permanently in Sinking Valley where the groom is one of the leading and prominent farmers and Democrats. Mr. McCormick is widely known and universally popular by reason of his genial personality. His bride is a lady of many estimable qualities who will be to him a worthy helpmeet in his declining years which we hope are yet far off. Long life and unalloyed happiness, may they be the portion of Mr. and Mrs. William McCormick. The Tyrone Herald, Thursday, January 26, 1893
