McFarland - Wertz.

  At Phoenix, Ariz., on February 22, Mr. Earl McFarland, a former 
resident of this city, and Miss Eva Mae Wertz, of Huntingdon, were 
united in marriage by the Lutheran Protestant Episcopal minister.  
After a brief honeymoon of central western cities they will reside at 
Phoenix.  The groom is employed as a machinist, while the bride, a 
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Wertz, was one of Huntingdon's most 
popular young ladies.  Both were graduates of the University of 
Pittsburg.  Mr. McFarland met his fianc‚e there.
