McGlathery of 220 First avenue and Miss Lula May Wilson of Philadelphia, were married yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the bride's home in Philadelphia, the ceremony being performed by Rev. Edward F. Bowman, pastor of the Emanual Presbyterian church of that city. The ceremony was attended by the immediate friends of the young people. The bridegroom is well known in Altoona. He holds a position with the Pennsylvania Railroad company as gang leader of the flue shop at Twelfth street. His bride enjoys the acquaintance and esteem of a large circle of friends in Philadelphia. The couple after visiting Washington and Huntingdon, W.Va., will come to Altoona and after May 6, will make their home at 220 First avenue.
