At the home of the bride's parents, at Roaring Spring, on Christmas Day, December 25, 1890, at 11 o'clock a.m., by Rev. F. M. Welsh, Mr. James C. McKnight and Miss Maggie Daniels were joined in the holy bonds of matrimony in the presence of the invited guests. The attendants were Harry S. Kauffman and Miss Kit Reighard. After the congratulations were extended the march was taken to the dining room, where a great feast, prepared for those present under the supervision of Mrs. Henry Young, was in waiting. After the good things had disappeared to the satisfaction of the inner man those assembled returned to the parlor, where they were entertained for an hour and a half by that whole-souled, genial, good fellow, John Hydecker, with his comic sayings and songs, after which all dispersed, wishing the happy couple a joyous voyage over the matrimonial sea. The presents bestowed upon the bride were many and useful. Morning Tribune, Altoona, Pa., Saturday, December 27, 1890
