McKNIGHT [photo] Miss Hagan Is Married In a lovely double-ring ceremony in the rectory of St. Joseph's church of Bellwood, Miss Mary Ann Hagan, daughter of Charles and Agnes Hagan, became the bride of Howard C. McKnight, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. D. McKnight of Altoona R. D. 1, on Saturday afternoon, June 12, at 5 o'clock. Rev. Father Edward McConnell officiated. The bride wore a black suit with white accessories and a corsage of white gardenias and rosebuds. The maid of honor, Miss Jean Potts of Middletown, was attired in an aqua suit with a corsage of yellow daisies and rosebuds. The best man was Donald Harpster of Pinecroft. The bride attended Bellwood- Antis High school and the bridegroom served 19 months in the Philippines during World war II. Following the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bridegroom after which the couple left on a wedding trip to Washington, D. C. Guests were present from Pinecroft, Gospel Hollow, Chambersburg, Turtle Creek and Altoona. Mr. and Mrs. McKnight will reside at the home of the bride for the present.
