McNamara - Smiley.

  Last evening at 8 o'clock Rev. Arthur W. Spooner united in the holy 
bonds of matrimony Mr. Thomas L. McNamara and Miss Margaret A. Smiley, 
both of this city.  The ceremony was performed in the presence of a 
large gathering of friends and relatives, at the residence of the 
groom, No. 2509 West Chestnut avenue.  Numerous and costly presents 
attested the genuineness of the many good wishes and "God bless you" 
showered upon the happy pair.  After partaking of a magnificent wedding 
repast the invited guests returned to their homes, praying that the 
present prophecy of happiness may be fully realized in the days to 
come.
