THANKSGIVING A POPULAR TIME FOR WEDDINGS.

  Mr. Roman Meintel, of this city, went over to Hollidaysburg, where he 
formerly resided, on Thanksgiving day and wedded one of that borough's 
fairest daughters, Miss Bid Hearn.  The ceremony was performed at the 
Catholic church by Rev. Father Walsh, and Mr. Mike Molloy and Miss 
Collins were the attendants.  The happy pair came over to this city in 
the evening and received the congratulations of a number of their 
friends, and departed on fast line for points of attraction in the 
east.
