Myers, of Washington avenue, left Sunday ostensibly for a sight seeing trip to Pittsburg. There, however, by pre-arrangement, she met Percy Messner, a former Bellwood young man, but now of Akron, O. Giving her brother the slip, they hied away to a minister and were united in marriage. Word of the elopement was received at the Myers home yesterday. Both young people have hosts of friends who wish for them a happy married life. The bride was formerly employed as clerk in the Reiland store, Pennsylvania avenue, and later for H. M. Walker, on Tenth street. She is a young lady of exceptional charms. They will reside in Akron.
