Engagement is Announced.

  Mrs. L. Berman, of 1919 Thirteenth avenue, announced the engagement 
of her daughter, Miss Fannie, to Mr. Jacob Miller, of Lock Haven.  The 
announcement was made last evening at a dinner served at the Berman 
home, to which members of both families were invited.  Those in 
attendance were Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Berman, uncle and aunt of Miss 
Berman; Mr. and Mrs. M. Lenson, Miss Rose and Miss Jane Lenson, Harry 
Wolfberg, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Wolfberg, of this city; Miss Eva Miller, 
of Lock Haven, sister of Mr. Miller; Misses Edith, Jeanette and Mary 
Berman, sisters of Miss Fannie Berman.
  Miss Berman is a well known young lady of the city and is a graduate 
of the Altoona high school, class of 1915, and was very popular 
especially in the commercial class of that year.  Mr. Miller is a young 
business man of Lock Haven.  The wedding, which will take place in the 
near future, will be one of the prominent social events of the winter.
