Miller, of 951 1/2 Seventeenth street, and Miss Mary Elizabeth VanScoyoc, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. VanScoyoc, of 503 Twenty-second avenue, were united in marriage at Wellsburg, W.Va., at 6:30 o'clock Saturday evening, August 31, by Rev. Morrison, pastor of the First Methodist Episcopal church. The impressive ring ceremony was used. The bride is a popular young woman and a former student at Juniata college. The groom is employed in the Altoona machine shops as a machinist. They were attended by Mrs. David McMinn, of Pitcairn, and Mr. James Miller, of Altoona, a sister and brother of the groom.
