Miss Bertha, daughter of Mr. Jacob Wertz, of Frankstown township, and Mr. Samuel Miller were married at the Lutheran parsonage at Duncansville, by Rev. Isaac Krider, on Thursday evening. On Thursday evening, at the Lutheran parsonage at Duncansville, Mr. Samuel Miller and Miss Bertha Wertz were united in marriage by Rev. Isaac Krider. The attendants were Miss Jennie Mountain and Mr. D. M. Wertz, brother of the bride. The groom is a sober and industrious young man. The bride is possessed of all the qualifications which go to make a true helpmeet. After the ceremony the happy couple returned to the home of the bride, where a bountiful repast was served. Among those present were Misses Annie, Bessie and Rae Ceiber, of Altoona; Mr. P. Stoner and family, Mr. James Robison and sister, of Westmont, Altoona, and many others.
