Miss Bonasso To Be Bride

  Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Bonasso of 2017 Fifth avenue announce the engagement 
and approaching marriage of their daughter, Miss Margaretta Bonasso, to Bert 
Owen Moore of Santa Monica, Calif.  The double-ring ceremony will take place 
on Friday evening, October 1, at 7:30 o'clock in the First Presbyterian 
church of Santa Monica, Calif.  Rev. William Irving, assistant pastor of the 
church, will officiate.
  The bride-elect will have as her only attendant an aunt, Miss Betty 
Nicastro and the bridegroom-elect has chosen Merl Moore, his brother, to act 
as best man.
  Miss Bonasso has been living for the past year with an aunt and uncle, Mr. 
and Mrs. Mike Solomon of 12562 Woodgreen, Mar Vista, Calif.  She is a 
graduate of Altoona High school, class of 1947.
  Mr. Moore, a son of Mr. and Mrs. John O. Moore of 3230 Pearl street, Santa 
Monica, Calif., is a graduate of Samohi school and was an enlistee in the 
U.S.N.R. having served several years as a fire controlman on the U.S.S. New 
Orleans in the South Pacific area.
  Prior to making their home in Santa Monica the couple plan an extended 
trip through northern California.
