MYERS - BRYSON - October 1, 1880, by the Rev. A. H. Miller, of this 
city, at the Pastor's residence, Mr. Thomas Myers, of Altoona, Pa., to 
Miss Maggie Bryson, of Washington, Pa.
  EDS. TRIBUNE: The above I clip from the Dispatch of this date and 
forward to you.  "Dore" (who is now a conductor on the Pittsburgh 
Southern railroad is well known in Altoona, Bell's Mills, etc., having 
been for a number of years a conductor on the Bell's Gap railroad) has 
finally capitulated and surrendered to the charms of a fair damsel of 
Washington, Pa.  His many friends (barring those who have tried to 
couple up to him) will be glad to hear he has done a good thing, and 
will unite with us in wishing that in his RUN through life, he will 
OBEY ORDERS and thereby avoid COLLISON; never (well seldom) having a 
wreck; always be ON TIME, and safely CONDUCT HER to the end of his 
line.  - WASHINGTON
