On Wednesday, April 22, in Lock Haven, Miss Fannie Ella Quiggle and Mr. Westley Needler were joined in the bonds of holy matrimony. The groom is an energetic western man and holds a position of honor and responsibility in that hustling Kansas City. The bride has been a teacher in the public schools of this city for a number of years. In the school room her cheerful disposition won for her respect and admiration from all of her pupils, and she was acknowledged to be one of the leading teachers, who governed seemingly without any effort. A graduate of a normal school and a student in the Pennsylvania Summer School of Methods, she had thoroughly assimilated the principles of the new education and was able to apply them effectively in all school work. By her marriage the first primary school of the Fourth ward will lose a leader of experience and skill, the true worth of which can only be known to persons who understand mind growth and present tendencies of school-work. At present Mr. and Mrs. Needler are on a wedding tour in eastern cities and after May 10, they will live at 209 West Eleventh street, Kansas City, Mo. With the bride's many friends here we united heart and soul in wishing them a happy and prosperous life.
