NEWTON - GRUHLER

Married last evening at the bride's home, 1316 Second avenue, William W. Newton, 
of 2901 Fifth avenue, to Miss Mary C. Gruhler.  The ceremony was performed by 
Rev. E. J. Metzler, pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran church, Millville.  The 
attendants were Alvin Newton and Miss Annie Shoemaker.  After the 
congratulations the guests were invited to the dining room, where a sumptuous 
feast was in waiting.  Professor Adolph Vetter presided at the piano and 
discoursed sweet music.  The groom is an employee a the Altoona Iron Co. Their 
presents were numerous and handsome.  They will go to housekeeping in a few 
weeks at 2707 Fifth avenue, where they will be pleased to meet all their 
friends.
