OLEWINE [photo] Louise Smith Becomes Bride Of Mr. Olewine Miss Louise Elder Smith, daughter of Mrs. Horace B. Smith, 1114 Thirteenth avenue, and John L. Olewine, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Harris Olewine, 711 McKee street, State College, were married by Rev. Alfred C. Petersen on Tuesday afternoon, Aug. 10, in the First Presbyterian church. Mrs. Lawrence M. Nugent presided at the organ. The bride wore dusty rose crepe and carried pale sunburst roses with a white orchid. Her matching Juliet cap was trimmed with corresponding roses. White gladioli, cybodium ferns and white candelabra provided a beautiful background. Miss Mary Louise Callahan of Clearfield as maid of honor was the bride's only attendant. She was gowned in beige crepe and carried deep sunburst roses. G. Gilbert Olewine served his brother as best man and the ushers were Richard Hoy and Charles Margolf, State College. A small reception in the Oneida room of the Penn Alto hotel was held immediately after the ceremony. Mr. and Mrs. Olewine will be at home after Aug. 16 at 322 West Riverside avenue, Covington, Va.
