Patterson and Miss Katie Burkholder, both of this city, were joined in holy bonds of matrimony, by Rev. Pastorius of that place. About twenty five friends were present, among whom were Dr. W. S. Shimer and Edward Sink, of this city, and Newton Bowman of Lebanon. After the ceremony all partook of a bountiful repast at the residence. The bridesmaid was Miss Lizzie Colby of Manheim while Dr. Shimer acted as groomsman. Mr. and Mrs. Patterson departed on a trip to Philadelphia, New York and other eastern points, after which they will reside in this city. Patsy is to be congratulated in securing such a jewel for a life partner and has the best wishes of his many friends. Altoona Mirror, October 2, 1890
