At 7 o'clock last evening at the parochial residence of St. John's Catholic church, Mr. O. C. Piper was joined in the holy bonds of wedlock to Miss Gussie Burns, daughter of Mrs. Sarah E. Burns, of 1515 Twelfth avenue, Rev. Father Bush officiating. The attendants were Miss Blanche Burns, sister of the bride, and Mr. W. C. Hatfield. After the ceremony the bridal party repaired to the home of the bride's mother where a reception was given from 8 until 11 o'clock. The wedding supper was partaken of at about 10 o'clock. Mr. and Mrs. Piper left on fast line this morning for an extended wedding tour through the eastern cities. Mr. Piper is book keeper for Atlantic Refining company, this city, and is an excellent young gentleman. His bride is an accomplished young lady and has a host of friends.
